Dying Light Walkthrough, Mission Guide, Tips and Collectibles


Dying Light Mission Gameplay / Walkthrough 1: Awakening - Find Gauze and Alcohol 
Players can rest somewhat easier with the knowledge that they most likely won't be eaten alive in the game's first mission. The tutorial format will help Kyle learn how to free run, as well as introduce him to basic crafting and various NPCs.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 2: First Assignment - Kill Mr. Hammer
The second mission will once again take on the tone of a tutorial, but this one is much more of a live fire situation than the last time out. Players will need to set traps to prepare for a night mission, and the latter stages will see the introduction of Mr. Hammer.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 3: Airdrop - Escaping Volatiles and Virals 
The training wheels come off in the third mission of the game when Crane is sent out to secure an airdrop containing Antizin from the GRE. However, things never go as they're supposed to, and the mission will end in a night pursuit through the dark city.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough  4: Buy Antizin from Rais - Search the Antenna for a Transmitter
Seems rather silly that someone would destroy an airdrop full of Antizin only to then put themselves in worse danger trying to acquire more, but fine, we'll play ball.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 5: Make Your Pickups - Find the Missing Patrol
There are several pickups that need to be made, but it's pretty straightforward stuff. Just head to the locations marked on the map, then follow the smaller objectives to get Rais' money and complete any tasks that are handed out along the way. This is going to take a bit of time, especially if other tasks or side quests are allowed to be a distraction.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 6: Siblings - Meet with Jade in the Boxcar
There shouldn't be any bad guys hanging around outside the school, and the entrance that Jade was talking about is on the southwest side. It's a door that's bolted shut, and trying to pass through will trigger her to give Kyle further ideas on how to get inside. Look for a way-point on the map, then move to that location and go through the door

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 7: Talk to Zere about the Bolters - Look for Rahim 
Zere is in the Tower, and talking to him will give players an objective to move on for a secondary chat with the Quartermaster. This will result in Crane's map showing the location of these Bolters, a handy feature if players are going to snag a sample.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 8: Defend Dr. Zere and His Lab 
This mission begins immediately following the cut scene with Brecken, plus there is a timer to worry about for the current objective. Get down to Dr. Zere's lab and start defending it from Rais' thugs. This can be very difficult when trying to take on all four at once, so perhaps try and score an easy kill on one that isn't looking. From there, think about getting on top of the trailer that was previously Zere's lab. Rais' men will climb up to get at Crane.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 09: Survive the Arena | Demolisher Boss Fight 
The first step in this portion of the mission will be run around the arena and get as geared as possible. This includes climbing up on top of containers to grab ranged weapons, however we advise that they not be used right now. Keep those suckers in Crane's back pocket for something far more challenging than a few low level zombies. 

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 10Locate the People Who Can Take You to Sector 0
Players will want to gather up their belongings before heading out, at which point they'll notice a very exciting new addition... Guns! Lots of guns, in fact. That's handy because it just so happens there's a Goon and some low level zombies across the water. 


Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 11: Public Faces - Creepy Zombie Children 
For those who thought that the enemies in Dying Light couldn't get any more creepy, this mission will prove that theory wrong. Public Faces will see the introduction of a zombie child, as well as a sad face made with explosives.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 12: The Museum - Win the Tahir Boss Fight 
It's getting closer to the end of the game, and this mission does a nice job of changing the pace from undead enemies to primarily human. That means that Mr. Crane will definitely want to bring some guns and ammunition this time out.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 13: Broadcast - How to Kill Demolishers 
Kyle Crane will be tested often in this mission, having to deal with several Demolishers as he tries to contact the outside world. We have just the tip to help players take this big galoot out, even with a melee weapon. 

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 14: The Clinic - Find Dr. Camden's Lab 
For those who know where they're going, this mission can be over fairly quickly. Luckily, we know exactly where to go and what to do. Trust us and players will be in and out of Dr. Camden's lab in no time at all.

Dying Light Gameplay / Walkthrough 15: Extraction - Rais Boss Fight and Ending 
The final mission of the game isn't really that hard, but it does feature a farily chllenging climb, and the Rais boss fight. We'll help you through both, finishing a campaign that surprised us at every turn.
