iBerry launches Auxus Prime P8000, priced at Rs 14,990 with fingerprint scanner


Hong Kong-based brand iBerry has launched its Auxus Prime P8000 smartphone with fingerprint sensor in India. To be available only on e-commerce website Snapdeal by month-end, this 4G smartphone costs Rs 14,990.

The all-new iBerry Auxus Prime P8000 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with Gorilla Glass and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system. It packs the 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6753 chipset and 3GB (DDR3) RAM under the hood, and comes with 16GB internal storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB capacities.

Auxus Prime P8000 smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, while the Finger Print 360-degree Touch ID sensor is placed below the camera setup. The smartphone has a 4,165mAh battery that supports 2A Quick Charge functionality for faster charging.

At this price point, iBerry Auxus is the cheapest handset with a fingerprint scanner in the country. However, Coolpad plans to launch the Dazen Note 3 smartphone with fingerprint sensor under Rs 10,000 soon.

iBerry Auxus Prime P8000 is a re-branded version of the ElephoneP8000 smartphone.
