LG India has announced the pre-bookings for the highly anticipated and awaited modular LG G5, to open from May 21, 2016. The LG G5 comes with a new design, metal uni-body featuring the standout modular implementation in the overall design.
The pre-bookings will be available from May 21, 2016 to May 30, 2016 at mobile stores, at LG brand shops and Flipkart. Customers who pre-book LG G5, will get the companion device, LG Cam Plus free with the smartphone.
The modular design improves the overall package by providing a slide-out battery tray and a smartphone that can play multiple roles by transforming into a camcorder or a Hi-Fi music amplifier. These detachable modules do not stop the smartphone from playing the traditional duties as a smartphone along with the additional functionalities they add.

The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The LG G5 comes with a wide angle 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera
