How to enable Num Lock as the Windows 8 Starts

It is reported that despite of turning Num Lock On by default in your system BIOS settings, you still have to manually turn on Num Lock on windows 8/8.1 log on screen. This can be annoying if you have a number in your password or it simply a PIN.
Having Num Lock on by default is essential for fast log on as well as helpful in later use.
To enable num lock on the log on screen of windows 8  is a simple registry tweak. You can just download and import this registry file and then reboot.
If you want to do it manually, open up registry editor and browse to the following location:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard.
Then edit the value of InitialKeyboardIndicators and set it to a value of 2.
