ZTE launches one of the most of the Most Secure smartphone



Smartphone maker ZTE has taken its latest flagship smartphone ZTE Axon to its home market China.

The smartphone was first launched in the US last week. It features a 5.5-inch 1080x1980p display, a fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, and Corning's Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass. The phone sports a dual-lens rear camera (13MP+2MP), 8MP front facing camera, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage (users can use micro-SD cards of up to 128GB for more storage).

It is the world's first phone that can be unlocked with three different biometric authentication options: fingerprint, voice control and eye-scan, making it one of the most secure smartphones available on the market. In addition to unlocking the device, the Axon phone's fingerprint scanner also supports for NFC payments.

ZTE also announced Axon Lux that has slightly different hardware specifications compared to the Axon smartphone. It comes with 128GB internal storage, 4GB RAM, and a 5.5-inch screen with 2560x1440p resolution.

Both phones run ZTE's customizable user interface Mi-favor 3.2 and are powered by a 3,000mAh battery.

The company also announced a mini version of Axon mobile that will be available later in China.

ZTE also announced a smartwatch ZTE Axon Watch that will feature a 1.4-inch Gorilla Glass screen with sapphire coating and is IP67 certified. It comes with a 300mAh battery, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage and Bluetooth 4.1. Developed by ZTE and Tencent, the smart watch runs Tencent OS and supports both voice and gesture control.
