Leaked: YU will soon launch a 10,000mAh power bank

While YU is known primarily for its smartphones, a new leak reveals that the company could also get involved in the power bank business. Indian import listing site Zauba has revealed the arrival of these power banks in the country, suggesting that a release could be imminent.

The power bank is said to be 10,000mAh in capacity, which should compete with the myriad of power banks available in the market from companies like Huawei, Xiaomi, ASUS etc. The shipments have arrived from Chi ..

What's interesting is that the price mentioned in the listing is Rs 650 per unit, suggesting that this could be an instant hit in the market when released. But as is the case with import listings, the prices mentioned are not always accurate, so we'll wait for the official release of the unit before passing judgment on that.

To put things in perspective, the 10000mAh OnePlus power bank is priced at Rs 1,399, while Xiaomi's 10400mAh power bank was priced at Rs 999 when it was launched last year. Knowing how YU smartphones are exclusively sold via Amazon, we won't be surprised if the YU power bank gets similar treatment.
