Google recently announced that Android M will be known as Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Since then a couple of leaks have given users access to the boot animation from the new OS as well as the wallpapers. Late yesterday, we stumbled across what appeared to be the Google Now Launcher from Android 6.0, which can be installed on devices running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and higher. Before you get too excited, remember that this is an Android 6.0 launcher in name only. The functionality will remain unchanged if you're currently using the Android 5.0 or 5.1 Google Now Launcher, so don't expect there to be any visual changes. This means you won't find the vertically scrollable app drawer and the newly designed widgets tray.
What you will find however, is the complete list of high resolution wallpapers from Android 6.0 Marshmallow in this 15MB Google Now Launcher package.
You can download the apk file on your smartphone or copy it to your device manually from the computer. Once done, make sure you enable manual installation of files from the settings and open it using a file explorer app like Astro or any other app of your choice.
I couldn't find any changes as far as functionality is concerned. But if you spot something, don't hesitate to let us know.
