Well, if you don't know yet we are going to get two new Nexus phones on September 29. While LG is going to give us the first true successor to 2013's runaway hit Nexus 5, Huwaei has what you can call a flagship Nexus that will replace last year's Nexus 6 up its sleeve.
The new Nexus phones will be called the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P.
While supposed images of both the upcoming Nexus phones have been leaked on countless occasions, Android Police seems to have gotten its hands on the 'real' deal just days ahead of launch. The website has released what it's calling the first leaked press renders of the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.
It's interesting to note that the newly leaked images are in line with previous tipped images of the new Nexus phones.
The new Nexus 5X will apparently come in three colours: charcoal black, ice blue, and quartz white.
The front of the Nexus 5X - as per the render - sports a pair of grilles, most probably for front-firing speakers. The back houses a fingerprint sensor that lies just below the camera that has a prominent bulge to it. Next to the camera lies a dualLED flash set up.
The Nexus 5X is expected to be a 5.2-inch phone with a FullHD resolution and a Snapdragon 808 under the hood.
The new Nexus 6P - which in all probability will be the bigger of the two -- is seen honing a black strip on the back that has a bump on the top. This strip houses the camera set up along with twin LEDs. A fingerprint sensor is seen below the strip. The front of the Nexus 6P shows symmetrical bezels, and a pair of grilles - again expected to carry the speaker vents.
The Nexus 6P is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QuadHD display with a Snapdragon 810 and USB Type-C in tow.
