Intex has launched its new Aqua Ace smartphone at Rs. 12,999. The domestic manufacturer is also offering bundled a 1-year screen breakage warranty alongside a complementary bag pack and a sensor-based flip cover free with the smartphone.
The Intex Aqua Ace will be available in Black and White colours. The 4G-enabled Aqua Ace features a 5-inch Super Amoled display with an HD screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The company touts that the handset sports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both front and back panels. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The Intex Aqua Ace will be competing against the popular Asus ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL) which comes with 3GB of RAM and is available at Rs. 13,999. The handset sports a 13MP rear camera with Samsung sensor and LED flash. There is a 5MP front-facing camera also on board.
The Intex Aqua Ace is backed by a 2300mAh battery that is said to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. The Aqua Ace features 16GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It measures 145x71.5x6.7mm and weighs 121.5 grams.
