Oppo has announced its first smartphone sporting 4GB of RAM the Oppo R7s at the GITEX 2015 event in Dubai. The phone will be selling in around 10 countries from November, but the India launch date and pricing are not yet known.
The Oppo R7s is the latest phone from the R7 series we had witnessed the launch of the Oppo R7 Plus and Oppo R7 Lite in Mumbai earlier last month. The Oppo R7s sports a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D glass. The phone runs on Android 5.1 along with the ColorOS 2.1 skin atop it.
The Oppo R7s houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC which has an octa-core processor inside. The R7s is a dual-SIM phone with support for microSIM as well as nano SIM cards. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage and can support microSD cards up to 128GB capacity.
On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera with LED flash unity and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth LE, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, Wi-fi and so on. The phone is powered by a 3,070mAh battery.
