HTC's One X9 with 1TB expandable storage leaked on TENAA

HTC launched the A9 which borrowed its design cues from the latest generation of iPhones and the company is not shying away from going ahead with another phone that looks inspired by the iPhone's design language. The device has been to the rumour mill more than once and the leaked specifications seemed to have indicated towards a high end flagship device with most of the specs exceeding the current flagships. However, the device has been leaked in the TENAA certification of China and the specifications seem to deviate from rumours.
The device was rumoured to sport MediaTek's Helio X20 or the Snapdragon 820. The device that has been leaked confirms the rumour and it is spotted with a 2.2GHz octa-core processor which seems to be a component of the Snapdragon 820. Supporting the mighty processor is a meagre 2GB RAM which is not even close to the rumoured 4GB RAM. The device will come with 16GB ROM which can be expanded to a generous 1TB.
The camera on this leaked device will house a 13MP sensor in the rear panel and a 5MP front facing snapper. This again, makes it an average offering in comparison to the flagships in the market. The device will sport a 5.5 inch display with a 1920x1080p resolution that is another major indicator that this device is designed for the mid-range segment. A 3,000mAh battery unit will light up the 5.5-inch screen. The pricing and availability of the device is not certain considering the disparity in the specifications but as the device has been passed in the certification, HTC might announce the device in a matter of weeks.
