Lava V5 launched in India with 5.5" display, 13MP camera...

Lava has launched a new smartphone in the market dubbed the Lava V5. The device is available for Rs 11,499, while the company states that the MRP for the device is Rs 13,000. The smartphone will be available via retail stores and multi-brand outlets across the country.
In terms of specifications,  the smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280p resolution and also sports Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 3GB RAM and includes 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The handset runs the company’s Star OS 2.0 with Android 5.1 Lollipop as the base, which it claims will be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with PDAFf2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens Blue glass filter and dual LED flash. One will also find an 8MP front facing camera with 84 degree wide angle lens and LED flash. In terms of connectivity, the Lava V5 includes 4G LTE Cat 4GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Glonass and microUSB. A 3000mAh battery completes the package and includes a Super Power Saving mode for extended battery life as well.
