Intex introduced a new smartphone in the market dubbed Aqua Craze at a price of Rs 6,190. Along with this, we also have the Aqua Lite smartphone that made its way online and is listed on the company’s website for Rs 3,199. The Aqua Craze will be available in Grey, White and Champagne Gold colour variants. The 4G smart phone was unveiled by J.S. Deepak, Chairman, Telecom Commission & Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India; Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies and Sanjay Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.
In terms of specifications, Aqua Craze features a 5-inch HD display with a 1280x720p resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz Quad-Core processor with 1GB RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the device includes an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing camera. Additionally, it has pre-loaded VAS feature Matrabhasha which will enable communication in 21 regional languages. It also features other pre-loaded services such as FOTA, Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, Newshunt, Myntra and Chaatz. A 2500mAh battery completes the package that is said to give 5-8 hours talk time and a standby of 7 days.

Coming to the more affordable Aqua Lite, we have a smartphone with a 4 inch WVGA display and Android 5.1 Lollipop inside that offers 3G bands at an affordable price.
Inside the Aqua Lite we get a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM. There is just 4GB of internal storage (which is pretty low) but we do get a microSD card slot which accepts cards of up to 32GB in capacity. For imaging, we get a 2MP rear and front facing camera. The rear camera gets an LED flash as well. As for connectivity, we do get GPRS/ EDGE, 3G bands, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The handset is powered by a 1400mAh battery .
