Today at the Forum 2016 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Samsung announced the same tablet for the Indian market. While the price of the tablet has not been revealed, we do know that the same will be officially launched in India by April or May.
Coming to the ultra thin Galaxy TabPro S, that sports with a form factor similar to Microsoft’s Surface Pro range that was recently launched in India. Microsoft proudly stated that it is thinner and lighter than the Apple iPad Pro and that it also packs in an Intel chipset with active pen support and 10 hours of battery life with its 5200mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S packs in a 12-inch AMOLED display (2160 x 1440p) and also happens to be the first tablet, powered by Windows, to support LTE Cat 6. Inside we get a Intel Core m3 processor and 4GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB SSD internal storage options. Both front-facing and primary cameras sport 5MP sensors.
More importantly, it also features Fast Charge tech, that can charge the tablet in just 2.5 hours.
In terms of connectivity, the 2-in-1 also features 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1. The multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen are available for purchase separately. And you get all of the above in a construction that is just 6.3mm thin and weighs just 693 grams.
