Meizu's next Flagship device to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7420 chipset

Meizu has always opted for non Qualcomm chipsets for all of its devices and the company keeps switching between Samsung's Exynos chipsets and MediaTek chipsets. Since the last two variants in the MX line-up Meizu has been choosing MediaTek as the chipset provider but this year a report from Sammobile suggests that the Chinese company is planning to get back to the Exynos line-up of chipsets.
Since the MX 4 Pro had used an Exynos chipset, there are high chances that the company might go for Samsung's flagship chipset, Exynos 7420 in the Meizu MX5 Pro. But the report suggests that Meizu might drop the line-up altogether and opt for a bigger and better and in an attempt to go big, the company is aiming at equipping the device with an Exynos 7420 chipset. Which has featured on Samsung's flagship devices this year and which might also make an appearance in the upcoming Galaxy Note 5.
The company is opting for a powerful chipset but in the attempt of attaining the premium threshold it might have to compromise with its pricing policy. The new phone might be priced around $480, which is closing up to Samsung's own range of flagships.
